Matte iPhone SMS Bubbles
For people wanting to replace the glossy SMS bubbles that came standard with your iPhone with some less shiny ones which make the SMS messages easier to read in my opinion, i’ve adapted the original SMS bubbles with these from the developer of iChat Matte.Give full credit to the developer of the matte SMS bubbles. To install, you need to SSH into your iPhone and overwrite Balloon_1.png and Balloon_2.png in your Applications/MobileSMS.app folder.

do I need to jail break or is it just an overwrite?
jailbreak is a must. At least with what I’ve seen. I use iPhoneBrowser once it’s jailbroken to mod the files.
