Here’s a nice program demonstrating the use of the iPhone’s accelerometer. 

Below is an actual screenshot of the graphics I changed around. Again, I DO NOT take credit for this application. The developer deserves full credit for this wonderful demonstration of the iPhone’s accelerometer. The basketball icon used was downloaded from here. To install, you need to ssh into your iphone and upload it into the Applications folder.

A new version of Mobilestack has been released for the iPhone incorporating grid view when you have more than five items in your stack. I incorporated Mobilestack with OpenUrl for a nice quick way to access my favorite contacts with a push of a button.

Here are some backgrounds you can use to replace the boring stock iPhone backgrounds. Upload the 3 files using your favorite sftp program into Applications/Weather.app. The Default.png file is the picture that briefly shows while the weather application is starting. All the files are pre-named and will overwrite your existing backgrounds. Download link below.

Here’s a nice nostalgic theme available for download. Versions for iPhones with 1.02 and 1.1.1 firmware are available. More info can be found here.
