Lyrics iPhone Application
A Japanese developer has released a native iPhone application called Lyrics that automatically downloads lyrics via Wifi or Edge of the current song that’s playing on your iPhone and in turn viewable thru the program. The program downloads the lyrics using 3 different lyrics search engines, Sing365.com, KashiGet and Utamap. The song needs to first be playing on the iPhone at which point you switch to the Lyrics application and it will try and find the lyrics. The downloaded lyrics are then stored in a database on your iPhone for later access. To switch between the main screen and settings, just slide your finger across the screen making it flip. It can be installed using Installer by adding: http://hpcgi3.nifty.com/moyashi/ipodtouch/repository.cgi as a source or visit the developers site.

AWESOME!! Works for every song on my iPhone so far.
Surprised that it picked up on some much lesser known songs as well. Very impressive!
Just wanted to know if there is a plugin for iTunes that works as well as this. It’s found all of my songs so far and I’ve tried pearLyrics but doesn’t seem to find some of my less known songs. It would be great for an iTunes plugin of this same app to be made. I just want all all the lyrics to be embedded within the song file.
