I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough if these rumors are true.

There’s one application that i’ve found indispensable and that’s Netservices. Netservices is a tool that allows you control over various iPhone services such as WiFi, Edge, SSH, Int’l Roaming, Autosnap and Bluetooth, just to name a few. TuneWiki Lyrics Application For iPhone

I’m sure at one point or another most iPhone owners have found themselves singing along with their favorite tunes, right lyrics be damned. TuneWiki will save you from further embarrassment by displaying the lyrics of the current song playing on your iPhone. The application works well over edge and found the majority of the songs I played. The only minor annoyances of the program is the lyrics aren’t saved locally on the iPhone and in order to advance the lyrics to the song that’s playing, constant tapping of the album picture is required to keep in sync with the lyrics. Also as a reminder, knowing the right lyrics to a song doesn’t automatically make you a better singer. Jus sayin’. Now available on Installer.

From the developer:

“To make it automatically scroll the lyrics, you have to sync them one time yourself. That means tapping the album art to advance the lyrics all the way through the song. At that point the timing information is sent back to our servers and stored. Next time someone requests lyrics for that song they will get it with your timing already there. If you get a synced set of lyrics that are all messed up you can hit the “resync” button and redo it. It’s all community maintained (which is why it’s called Tune”wiki”)BTW the lyrics are stored locally for any song you’ve gotten already. That way if you’re out of the service area you’ll still have them.”

Phonofone II Ceramic Speaker

Science + Sons are crafting limited edition passive amplification speakers made entirely of ceramic in what looks to be a nod to the old paired with new technology. Sound is dispersed by connecting active earphones and with the virtue of horn acoustics negates the need of an outside power source. A maximum value of up to 55 decibels can be achieved which is roughly equivalent to the maximum value of laptop speakers according to their website. The speakers are listed at $875 CAD ea.
