Lyrics For iPhone Updated

The Lyrics applications’ shortcomings with not being able to find lyrics for a lot of songs has been addressed with this update. Lyrics downloaded and embedded into iTunes now properly show on the Lyrics application for the iPhone. The major benefit is that you can have a lyrics program download all the lyrics onto your computer, embed it into iTunes and upon syncing have the lyrics displayed on your iPhone without needing a data connection or relying on the Lyrics application for the iPhone to find them. Other changes include the option to change the fonts for the lyrics displayed and they’ve also added Lyric Wiki as a source. Controls have also been added within the Lyrics application to control options for playback. I used Pearlyrics on my laptop to search and download lyrics for songs I had in iTunes and the program found lyrics for 95% of them. It then embedded those lyrics into iTunes and when I synced my iPhone, all the lyrics showed up on the Lyrics application. Pearlyrics is an OS X program but i’m sure there are similar programs for windows that can embed lyrics into iTunes.
