Official 1.1.3 Dev Team Jailbreak Released - Back Again To 1.1.2
I decided to give this official 1.1.3 Dev Team jailbreak a try and i’m finding myself going back to 1.1.2 again like I did after the first published 1.1.3 jailbreak. Initial jailbreak went smoothly and the only problem I encountered from the stock applications was the Maps “locate” feature not working. The Maps “locate” feature did work after installation of the third party application LocateMe was installed but upon reboot, stopped functioning again. Installing applications from Installer proved to be frustrating as they would download but upon installing, would just send me back to the springboard with no evidence of the application. The same futile results were obtained trying to manually install applications via sftp. If you’d like to try your luck with this jailbreak, head on over to HackthatPhone for well written instructions.

apologize if this is obvious / if you tried this, but did you check your free space (with bosstool, etc?)
If you’re out of space on the smaller partition, installer will exit during install / download, and send you back to the springboard.
the best solution is to move your fonts to the larger partition, and create a symlink - this frees up a huge amount of space.
to be quite honest with you, i reverted back to 1.1.2 as soon as i saw all the problems people were having with either jailbreak. i see all the workarounds but to me it’s just not worth it just for having jiggly icons and faux gps that doesn’t work after a reboot. hopefully a real jailbreak can be done with the 1.1.3 baseband.
ditto. i’m holding off. there’s nothing compelling for me in 1.1.3.
that being said… it’s worth relocating the fonts regardless, as this does free up a lot of space for apps. (especially if you have, and i suspect you do, three pages worth!)
