Official 1.1.3 Dev Team Jailbreak Released - Back Again To 1.1.2
I decided to give this official 1.1.3 Dev Team jailbreak a try and i’m finding myself going back to 1.1.2 again like I did after the first published 1.1.3 jailbreak. Initial jailbreak went smoothly and the only problem I encountered from the stock applications was the Maps “locate” feature not working. The Maps “locate” feature did work after installation of the third party application LocateMe was installed but upon reboot, stopped functioning again. Installing applications from Installer proved to be frustrating as they would download but upon installing, would just send me back to the springboard with no evidence of the application. The same futile results were obtained trying to manually install applications via sftp. If you’d like to try your luck with this jailbreak, head on over to HackthatPhone for well written instructions.

Bejeweled Clone iZoo For iPhone
iPodTouchFans forum member Lazrhog has developed iZoo, a native iPhone/iPod Touch Bejeweled type game. iZoo uses animals in place of the familiar gems in Bejeweled but by using a skin made by Garfield, also an iPodTouchFan member, brings back the Bejeweled theme. iZoo is available on Installer by adding: http://www.touchrepo.com/repo.xml as a source. PopCap Games, Inc. has kindly asked me to take down images and download links for Bejeweled and Zuma as they own the trademarks.

Gravity Simulation For The iPhone (Possibly NSFW)
One of the cool features I was looking forward to were the jiggly icons Apple implemented on the new 1.1.3 firmware signaling the readiness of the re-ordering of the springboard icons. My update didn’t turn out as expected so I reverted back to 1.1.2 leaving behind the jiggly icon goodness of 1.1.3. Well iRection puts a little bit of that jigglyness back into my iPhone by using the accelerometer to test the effects of gravity on weighted objects. And to think there are people who still think that the iPhone isn’t a serious business tool. Download here.
