Erica Sadun, according to her, has implemented some major changes to her Voice Notes application, VNotes. The interface is a marked improvement from the previous one and one welcome change I noticed aside from the aesthetics is the ability to change the title of a recorded voice note. Available for manual download and install here.

Works really well on 1.1.3.
I had to set permissions to 755 on a couple files to get it working.
