Developers from WeiPhone have released a plug-in to enable the iPhone’s music player to display synced lyrics karaoke style. To download, add: http://app.weiphone.com/installer/ as a source in Installer.

The lyrics are always unsynced with the song, there should be a option to manually sync the lyrics
