Bird-Electron is manufacturing this cool looking stand for your iPod Touch with an integrated 60mm full range speaker. The unit is plug and play and requires no outside power source for the speaker. The front panel, which comes with a silicon seat to prevent sliding and scratching, is angled at 45 degrees for optimal viewing of videos with your iPod Touch. I see no reason why this wouldn’t work with an iPhone though.

As good as the iPhone’s rather limited 2mp fixed lens camera is, I’m sure there are people wanting a bit more flexibility. Conice has stepped up in manufacturing a 6×18 optical zoom lens for the iPhone to get closer to your subject. Science + Sons are crafting limited edition passive amplification speakers made entirely of ceramic in what looks to be a nod to the old paired with new technology. Sound is dispersed by connecting active earphones and with the virtue of horn acoustics negates the need of an outside power source.
