Locations Webcam Viewer For iPhone
Locations, by Andreas Linde, is a native iPhone application available on Installer that allows you to view webcams from around the world. Google a webcam for a place your interested in viewing and input the image URL using the “Add” button of the application.
From The Developer:
“I enjoy using the weather app on the iPhone a lot, but I always felt something is missing. Ok, I can see the forecast with temperature values and an icon illustrating if it is raining, snowing or whatever. But this isn’t enough for me, I want to see how the weather is. Well, there was no app present helping me there, so I decided to start coding it myself. And here it is.”
Usage Instructions From The Developer:
“All you need is an image URL. Use the “Add” button to add new webcams, or the “Edit” button to rearrange or delete webcams. The URL will be validated before it is accepted. On startup Locations will load the webcam images from the local cache. If the cache is empty, it will download the default webcams, which is the Statue of Liberty and the Eiffel Tower.Attention: Downloading webcam images will result in online data traffic using EDGE if you are not connected via WLAN. If you don’t want Locations to cause online data traffic, make sure to disable EDGE in your iPhone.”
One more reason not to update until a 1.1.3 jailbreak is out.

Waves iPhone Toy Update
There’s been an update to the Waves application for the iPhone that we previously featured. Aside from being able to choose a pre-defined picture or wallpaper to use the “Waves” effect on, you can now use it on many of the iPhone’s application screens. There’s an option to enable a floating button which resides in the lower left corner and when pressed, activates the “Waves” effect after a few seconds. Useless? Yes, but an awesome toy with cool effects nonetheless. Available on Installer by adding: http://www.touchrepo.com/betarepo.xml as a source.
From The Developers Site:
When drawing waves on the image, double tap to go back to the previous screen.
If the floating button is enabled, a small button will be displayed a short time after the application exit.
This ‘wave’ button will be displayed at the bottom left by default, but you can move it.
It will remain visible (even after a device restart) until disabled from this menu.
When pressed, you’ll have to wait for about 3 seconds before being able to draw waves.

EvolutionRGB iPhone Game
Game Description From Google Code:
EvolutionRGB is a senseless and beautiful iPhone game of fire, plants and water.
It allows the player to draw on the touch screen using different elements, like fire, water and plants. These elements interact with each other, so that the screen evolves over time. The iPhone’s accelerometer is used for the gravity direction so that water always falls down and fire burns upwards. EvolutionRGB can be installed via Installer. Just add the following link to the Installer.app sources:

The plants are set on fire and burn.

Magazine Covers For Dress Up
Erica Sadun’s application Dress Up seems to have taken off with the availability of more costumes. Costumes range from Xmas, St. Patricks, Pirate, Mouths, Halloween, Hair and Dog. I wasn’t really digging some of the costumes so I made some magazine covers to use instead. Center the magazine cover in your screen and once you have your victim subject centered, just snap the photo. Send me some interesting photos at kameron@iPhoneskinning.com using the covers and i’ll post the good ones up. Covers included below are Time, Playboy and Maxim. Extract and upload the 3 individual folders into the var/root/Library/Media/Costumes folder of your iPhone. Download link below.
